Plum – Green Gage

Prunus salicina. Fruiting Plum. ‘Green Gage’ Plum is a European plum with a very sweet flavour. Greenish-yellow skin with a white bloom when fully ripe. Used for fresh fruit, jam, drying and cooking. Pollination ‘Angelina’, ‘Coe’s Golden Drop’, ‘Damson’, ‘President’, Sugar Plum, ‘d’Agen’, ‘Robe de Sergeant’. Skin is a greenish-yellow with a white bloom when fully ripe.  Flesh is green turning yellow at full maturity. Flavour is very sweet.
