Casual Garden Centre Assistant — Immediate Start
Newman’s Nursery is looking for a motivated, reliable person who enjoys physical outdoor work and takes pride in getting the job done. No experience necessary, just a genuine interest in plants and a willingness to learn.

Your day will include:
- Assisting customers with plant selection and basic advice
- Loading plants, pots and garden products into customers’ vehicles
- Assisting with deliveries, incoming goods and stock movement
- Merchandising plants and products throughout the nursery
- Watering and caring for nursery stock
- Receiving, unpacking and labelling stock
- Helping keep the garden centre clean, safe and well-presented
- Working as part of a friendly, supportive team
What we’re after:
- A genuine passion for plants, gardening and the outdoors
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Fit, energetic and capable of safely lifting and moving plants and products
- Reliable, motivated and takes pride in doing a great job
- Comfortable talking with customers and providing friendly service
- Available weekends (essential)
