Hazelnut – Cosford

Cosford – Corylus avellana – Fruiting Variety Hazelnut.    The hazelnut has a roughly spherical to oval shape and is excellent eaten fresh as well as roasting and cooking. Reported to be a good pollinising cultivar.  Skin Light-brown thin shell. Flesh Good quality large kernel. Flavour Good.
